On day 4, we had a short drive to The Catwalk in Gila National Forest. After we reached the end, we continued along the creek for another couple of miles. On the return, we could not resist a swim in the creek, but with the water temperature in the 50's, we managed only to wade in before our feet went numb.

We then had the scariest drive of our lives on the way to Mogollon. The road was only 1 lane wide with blind curves and no guardrails.

At the end of the road, we were treated to a very interesting town (not really ghost, but close) with an excellent B&B (The Inn at Silver Creek) and cool night breezes.
