Zoo & Aquarium Science
Are you preparing for a career in zookeeping or conservation? Do you want to continue your education to remain current in your field and increase your opportunities for advancement? The certificate program in Zoo & Aquarium Science at ABI is designed to help you achieve these goals!

Who is our program for? Professionals or career candidates working in:

* Zoos
* Aquariums
* Environmental Education
* Animal Conservation

The Zoo & Aquarium Science program includes a comprehensive approach to the proper care and management of wild animals, including exotics and native wildlife. It is the ideal complement to a degree in biology or animal sciences - where coverage of husbandry, care and behavior is often limited to domestic species, if it's included at all. Our certificate consists of five courses (15 credits) in conservation, husbandry, nutrition, behavior, training, and public education.
