Canine Training & Behavior
My name is Johanne Rondeau and I live in Timmins Ontario Canada. Working with dogs is my passion, which is why I decided to take the course Canine Training and Behavior. These credentials will support me to move towards my second career as a canine trainer and behaviorist. Presently I am working as an Executive Director in the disability sector. In November 2024, I graduated from the Canine Training and Behavior course. I have also in the past couple of years opened my new business called Confident K-9 Training Canada. You can find more information on my Facebook page. In the future I will be training Canines with the training received by ABI.Â
Â
I continue to take courses from ABI to receive the Professional designation in Canine Training and I am presently taking my favorite course called Advanced Canine Training. My field experience was completed with Different Breed Training where I trained canines some basic obedience skills. I also did a placement with Voodoo Dogs preparing dogs for rally, obedience and tracking competitions with the Canadian Kennel Club. Both places were a lot of fun!
Â
Since I've graduated from ABI I continue to work at building my business called Confident K-9 Training Canada where I teach K-9 Emergency First Aid and CPR to K-9 owners. I will begin offering puppy enrichment classes soon as well as obedience classes. Â
Â
I would recommend Animal Behavior Institute to anyone as it has supported me to achieve my goals in obtaining a certification in canine training while I worked full-time.
