Student Financing
The Animal Behavior Institute is pleased to offer Interest-free financing to all students. Please note , however, that the Animal Behavior Institute is an exclusively online, non-degree granting Institution. Thus, we are unable to accept any federal funds for education, nor can we process or accept the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

ABI provides low cost tuition installment plans and convenient monthly payments; you can finance a single course or your entire program. You can refinance each semester. Three different payment plans are available. Plans 1 and 2 do not require a financing application or a credit check and are available to all students. When you register for your course(s) you may choose the financing plan.

Plan 1: Deposit of $555 per course; balance payable over 6 months

Plan 2: Deposit of $370 per course; balance payable over 3 months
Financing Application
Our third plan, available to US students only, requires the completion of a financing application, along with a $25 credit check application fee, and a successful credit check. You will receive your notification within 2-4 business days . You may add a co-signer to the application at no additional charge. Note that you must be an accepted student before applying for financing.

Payment Plans​
The total deposit and monthly payments will vary with the program option and the number of courses being financed. The financed amount does not include the cost of books or course materials. All outstanding tuition must be paid in full prior to receiving your final certification.
Students usually finance courses as they enroll, rather than financing all of their courses up front. Below are three sample payment plans (for illustration only). Payment amounts include a one-time $50 processing fee.

Refinancing
Students may amend their financing plans to add additional courses at any time; there are never additional fees for refinancing.
Employer Tuition Payment/Reimbursement
Many professions require annual continuing education credits to encourage practitioners to remain current in their fields. Consequently, your employer may be willing to finance your educational investment in whole or in part.

Ask your employer whether they reimburse expenses for career or job skills training. You may need to contact your Human Resources department at a larger institution.

Determine what documents are required to obtain funding up front or reimbursement after the course is completed. We will gladly provide you with any documentation needed to assist you with this process.

If you are using your coursework to satisfy continuing education credits, determine whether your certification agency already accepts ABI courses. If not, we can assist you with any information required for review and approval. Many of our classes are already approved for professional continuing education credit.
